Affiliate Disclosure Guide
When you can earn commission from a link or recommendation, say so clearly where people can see it.
Simple disclosure
Social posts
Put the disclosure in the post or caption itself, before someone has to expand a long block of text. Do not hide it only in a profile page or a large group of hashtags.
Video
Include the disclosure in the video itself. Use spoken and readable on-screen disclosure so viewers can understand the relationship with or without sound. Also repeat it near the affiliate link in the description. For live streams, repeat the disclosure regularly.
Websites and blogs
Place the disclosure close to the recommendation or affiliate link. A site-wide disclosure page can provide additional detail but should not replace a clear nearby disclosure.
Include a visible disclosure in the message when the email contains compensated recommendations or affiliate links.
Creative Studio
Muncle Mikes creative and link tools are designed to make disclosure easier. You remain responsible for presenting it clearly in the context where you publish.
